Hi, I'm Samantha.

I'm a homeschooling mother of five, a lifelong caregiver, and the founder of Seeds of Character.

With children ages 20, 17, 15, 13, and 1, my life has been shaped by nearly two decades of guiding little humans through some of their earliest and most important years. I've spent countless days teaching, nurturing, comforting, encouraging, and celebrating the small victories that help children grow into who they're becoming.

Long before I ever wrote a book, creativity was already woven into my life. One of my favorite chapters was running a custom cake business, where I poured imagination, joy, and attention to detail into creations designed to make children feel special, seen, and celebrated.

That same heart now lives inside every page I create.

Over the years, I've also had the privilege of caring for others, supporting families, and walking alongside people during vulnerable seasons of life. Those experiences deepened my belief that every child deserves to feel valued, capable, and deeply loved.

Seeds of Character began with a simple but powerful desire:

I wanted my children to see themselves clearly.

To recognize their strengths.

To believe in their worth.

To understand that who they are matters and that the character they grow can brighten the world around them.

One idea has stayed with me throughout that journey, inspired by a line from Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson:

"As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."

That truth sits at the heart of everything I create.

My mission is to help children shine — boldly, gently, and authentically — so their light encourages others to shine too.

Today, Seeds of Character is growing into a world of stories, lessons, and lovable characters designed to help little hearts understand themselves and the world around them.

Because children aren't just learning their letters.

They're learning who they are becoming.

And I'm grateful you're here, walking this journey with us.
